TRAVELLING
TRAVELLING TO BÖLSE, VENUE OF FRESH FOOD FESTIVAL:
Bölse is situated 480 km from Hamburg, 190 km from Malmö, 9 km north of Falkenberg, about 95 km south of Gothenburg, 22 km south of Varberg, and 1400 m from the ocean on the Swedish west coast.
We like to encourage people to travel in an environmentally friendly way.
From Hamburg. Take the train to Copenhagen which takes about 5 hours. From there take the
From Copenhagen and Skåne/Scania with train and bus:
Take the "Öresundståget" (train) bound for Gothenburg. The train travels from Helsingör via Copenhagen, Malmö, Lund, Helsingborg, Ängelholm, Båstad, Laholm, Halmstad to Falkenberg.
Change there to bus 652 that is leaving just outside the railway station. The bus is bound for Varberg. It takes about 11 minutes to Bölse north (Bölse norr). Walk the road towards the coast to the left in the travelling direction. Near the bus stop there is a sign saying Glommen 5, take that road. From the bus stop it is about 500 meter to walk to Bölse medborgarhus, a building built like a U out of red bricks situated to your right. It is also possible to get off at Bölse kvarn (kvarn = mill and you will see it to your right) which is the stop before Bölse norr and it is also about 500 meter to walk from there. Then you will find Bölse medborgarhus on you left.
From Gothenburg:
Take the train to Varberg. Change there to bus 562, leaving just outside the railway station. Get off at Bölse norr. Takes about 36 minutes. (See above)

BY ROAD:
If you drive on E6/E20
drive off at "trafikplats" 52 (Långås/Morup/Glommen/Olofsbo). If you come
from the south it is also possible to choose "trafikplats" 51 (Falkenberg). Bölse
is between Morup and
Glommen. When you come to Bölse from the south you will see an old mill to the
right. Then turn off at the sign "Glommen 5" You have about 500 meters more to
go.
WITH BICYCLE:
Ginstleden (Cykelspåret väst) runs
from the border to Skåne/Scania via Skummeslövsstrand, Mellbystrand, Snapparp at the
mouth of river Lagans, Trönninge, Halmstad, Tylösand, Villshärad, Haverdal,
Steninge, Falkenberg and Glommen. From Glommen it is about 4 km to Bölse.
In the north the Ginstleden starts at the border to Västra Götaland south of Billdal, just south of Gothenburg. It passes through Särö, Kungsbacka, Fjärås Kyrkby, Åsa, Frillesås, Väröbacka, Tångaberg, Varberg, Morup and Glommen.

From Karlskrona there are several possibilities depending on when you leave
Karlskrona. Take the train to Hässleholm and change. Then go directly to
Falkenberg or change in Halmstad, or Lund, or bus (SK9) to Ängelholm. Or go
directly to Gothenburg and change there.
It is also possible to travel Rostock - Gedser (DK) and Grenå (DK) - Varberg.
